I’m currently figuring this out for myself and the women I want to work with. I had an income at the time so I wasted years with Shiny Object Syndrome trying to build something, always asking the wrong question, does it work? When I should have been asking “does it fit”. I read every word and if I liked you before I like you even more now. Your honesty is refreshing and your story is so inspiring. I’m also from the Bay Area, and hope to travel again soon. 😊

Thank you. It really means alot. My goal of sharing is not to sollicit sympathy but to show that life can be friggin’ hard. We all have rough times. Sharing makes you realize no one’s life is perfect.

I wholeheartedly agree. Our challenges and how we respond to them are a big part of who we are 💙

Hiding the real you is a betrayal, as if you were ashamed for what you've been through. On the contrary, good and bad experiences shape our character. Show me your mess.

Everybody's always looking for the blueprint, but if there was ever one blueprint that works for everyone, people would have figured it out by now. Growing a business and making it last has to be specific and personal to the individual. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for sharing your story honestly and vulnerably, Krista 🤍 I admire so much in it! Even though it’s been a twisted path, you kept building anyway, piece by piece, without ever pretending it was tidy. That’s what makes this so encouraging for anyone in a midlife career transition - or really, anyone navigating how fast things change right now.. We shape the life we want to live. Mindset and a can-do attitude can move mountains. Wishing you tremendous success ahead with everything you’re building!
